L'an mil huit cent soixante et quatorze,
le huit du mois d'Avril à douze heures de midi, par devant Nous
Joseph Lefèvre, echevin, faisant fonction d'officier de l'Etat-Civil de la commune
de Marchienne-au-Pont, Hainaut, sont comparus en notre Maison Commune,
Augustin BONHIVERT, houilleur,
né à Marchienne-au-Pont le quinze Mars mil huit cent cinquante.. un,
y domicilié, mineur quant au mariage, fils de
Jacques Joseph, décédé en cette commune le dix-huit Octobre mil huit cent cinquante deux
et de Thérèse BAYER, sa veuve, cabaretière, de même domicile ici présente et consentante.
Ayant satisfait à la milice nationale comme il conste du certificat modèle No 59
ci-joint lui délivré à Mons le vingt-neuf Novembre dernier.
Et Adèle PAYS, menagere,
née à Jumet le dix-sept Mars mil huit cent cinuante quatre, y domiciliée,
fille mineure de Joseph Ghislain, houilleur, de même domicile ici présent et consentant,
et de Julie Ghislaine DELVAL, son épouse
décédée à Marchienne-au-Pont le quinze Août mil huit cent soixante-six.
Translation (English)
In the year one thousand eight hundred seventy-four,
on the eighth of the month of April, at twelve o'clock, before Us
Joseph Lefèvre, acting-mayor of the town
of Marchienne-au-Pont, Hainaut, came in our Court House,
Augustin BONHIVERT, miner,
born in Marchienne-au-Pont on March fifteenth one thousand eight hundred and fifty-one
there residing, minor as to marriage, son of
Jacques Joseph, who died in this town, on October eighteenth one thousand eight hundred fifty-two
and of Therese BAYER, his widow, tavern owner, who also resides here, present and consenting.
Having satisfied his military obligation, as witnessed by the certificate #59
here affixed, delivered in Mons last November twenty-ninth.
And Adèle PAYS, housewife,
born in Jumet on March seventeenth one thousand eight hundred fifty-four, here residing,
minor daughter of Joseph Ghislain, miner, also living here, present and consenting,
and of Julie Ghislaine DELVAL, his wife
who died in Marchienne-au-Pont on August fifteenth one thousand eight hundred sixty-six.
