L'an mil huit cent cinquante sept, le dix  du mois d'avril à neuf heures du matin,
par devant nous Auguste Joseph BIERNAUX, Officier de l'Etat Civil de la commune de Jumet,
arrondissement judiciaire de Mons, province de Hainaut a comparu
Gustave WILLAUME, verrier, âgé de trente ans, domicilié à Jumet, qui nous a déclaré que le
huit courant à quatre heures du matin, est né en cette commune,
de lui et de Sophie DEHONT, son épouse, âgée de vingt deux ans,
un  enfant du sexe féminin  qu'il  nous a présenté et
auquel il a donné le prénom de Axina.
Les dites présentation et déclaration faites en présence de
Charles Joseph DURY,  secrétaire communal, âgé de vingt huit ans,
et de Henri BRIGODE, commissionnaire, âgé de soixante neuf ans, domiciliés à Jumet.
Après lecture du présent acte les père et témoins l'ont signé avec nous

Translation (English)

In the year 1857, the 10th of the month of April, at 9am,
before us Auguste Joseph BIERNAUX, Officer of the civile Registration of the town of Jumet,
Judicial department of Mons, province of Hainaut, appeared
Gustave WILLAUME, glassworker, 30 y old, living in Jumet, who declared to us that on the
8th of this month at 4am was born in our town,
of him and of Sophie DEHONT, his wife, 22 y old,
a female child whom he presented to us and
To whom he gave the first name of Axina.
The said declaration and presentation made in the presence of
Charles Joseph DURY, city clerck, 28 y old.
And of Henri BRIGODE, commissionner, 69y old, both living in Jumet.
After the reading of the present document, the father and witnesse signed with us.
